Position Size
How large a trade you take, usually measured in lots — determined by your risk amount and stop loss distance.
The right way to decide position size: pick your risk percentage first (commonly 1-2% of your account), then let that number and your stop loss distance determine the size — not the other way around. A tighter stop allows a larger position for the same dollar risk; a wider stop requires a smaller one.
